waiyer

Privacy.

Short and in plain English. What waiyer keeps, where, and why.

Draft, to be reviewed. This page describes how the waiyer apps work today and will be revised before it is final. Last updated .

Your files

Your documents stay in your own Google Drive, or on your device, unless a product says otherwise on its own page. memo keeps PDFs in one folder of your Drive or on the device only, and has no server storing documents; readz shows the text on the device and, when it can reach its service, keeps your reading sessions, saved texts and stats with your account. Where a product works inside your organisation’s Google Workspace, what it creates lives in that Workspace. Google’s own privacy policy applies to what Google stores.

Sign-in

Signing in uses our identity provider (Zitadel, OpenID Connect) with your Google account. We receive your e-mail address, your name and, when available, a profile picture URL, to show who is signed in and to authorise calls to our own services. Sign-in tokens are stored on your device only.

Analytics

This website and the apps may use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to count visits and see which screens are used, and only when analytics is enabled for that build. It never sees the content of your documents. Today, analytics is off unless a build explicitly turns it on.
